
2023 Scholarships
The Twenty Pearls Foundation of Charleston awards student scholarships annually, to shine a spotlight on brilliant students and encourage the pursuit of academic excellence in higher education.
Each Scholarship is a one-time scholarship for the amount listed and awarded to a Charleston County School District High School senior, by the Twenty Pearls Foundation of Charleston Inc., conditional upon verification of college/university enrollment.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must:

be a US Citizen
-
be a graduating senior attending Burke High School
-
have a minimum grade point average of a B (80-89)
-
enter college as a freshman in the upcoming fall semester.
-
have participated in creative arts to include, music, band, dance, theater, visual arts or writing.
-
intend to participate in one of the above creative arts in college.

Applicant must:

be a US Citizen

be a graduating senior attending Baptist Hill, Burke, or North Charleston High School
-
have a minimum grade point average of a B(80-89).

enter college as a freshman in the upcoming fall semester and attend a Historically Black College/University.
NOTE: If after being selected for the scholarship the recipient decides not to attend a Historically Black College/University, the recipient’s scholarship will be forfeited.

be a graduating senior attending Baptist Hill High School (preferably attended Minnie Hughes Elementary school)

have a minimum grade point average of a B (80-89)

enter college as a freshman in the upcoming fall semester and attend a Historically Black College/University (HBCU).
NOTE: There will be 2 scholarships awarded (one male and one female). If after being selected for the scholarship the recipient decides not to attend a HBCU, the recipient’s scholarship will be forfeited and consideration will be given to the new qualified applicant who plans to attend an HBCU.
